I cannot imagine my life without music. I was born into a musical family and my earliest memory includes singing. I learned to read music at about the same age I learned to read the English language.
Both my parents played several instruments and put a high value on musical education for their children. My siblings and I learned the piano and were encouraged to learn to play other instruments as well. Although I also play the violin, piano became my instrument of choice in my teenage years when I discovered a great satisfaction in being able to accompany other musicians.
It's a joy to be able to share my passion for music with others. I've played the piano and accompanied choirs and soloists in the Leavenworth, Washington area since 1985. Upper Valley Piano Studio was created in 2002 because of my wish to help others learn to play the piano.
